After multiple leaks Lenovo has officially announced the Legion Go S handheld PC and it will release with two models, one installed with Windows 11 and the other SteamOS. This will be the first non Valve handheld to launch with SteamOS.
Both models feature a 1,920 x 1,200 LCD display up to a 120 Hz refresh rate with VRR. Trigger stops on the back designed for FPS shooters and Racing games. A microSD card slot, two USB4 Type-C ports (up to 65 W charging speed), and a headphone jack, and supports either M.2 PCIe 2242 or 2280-size SSDs.
Legion Go S SteamOS
The SteamOS Legion Go S releases in May with two models in the color Nebula Violet. There will be a $499 model and $599 model featureing the new AMD Ryzen Z2 Go processor (exclusive to Lenovo).
Legion Go S Windows
The Windows Legion Go S releases February 14th for $729.99 in a White colorway. It will feature the AMD Ryzen Z2 Go processor, 32 GB of RAM, and a 1 TB SSD. You can buy it now on Best Buy. In May a cheaper $599.99 Windows version will release with 16GB RAM and 1TB of storage alongside the SteamOS version.
